Does Bamboo Bobbi Donate to My Food Bank?

We want to help as many people as possible, and that means doing things a little differently

The short answer? Maybe.

The long answer? Definitely maybe

Let’s break it down. Here’s how Bamboo Bobbi works:

Every time you buy a toilet roll from our website, we donate an eco-friendly roll to a UK food bank. You wipe your bum, and help someone else wipe theirs too. Simple as that!

If you buy us in shops, it ends up being just under one for one. But all the profits still go straight towards donations. So whatever way you support us, you're still helping get loo roll to the people who need it most.

So... Which food banks get the rolls?

Well, this is where it gets a teeny bit more complex... but stick with us.

All our donated toilet rolls head straight to S6 Food Bank in Sheffield, but they don't stay there for long.

S6 are working hard to become Trussell's central distribution hub for the whole of the UK. That means along with our toilet roll they’re also collecting loads of other essentials (like food, soap, and hygiene products), bundling everything together, and sending it out to food banks across the UK in one go.

We’re talking everywhere: Greater London, Cardiff, Bristol, Yorkshire, Ayrshire, Greater Manchester… And more being added all the time.

Why do we do it this way?

Sending our rolls to a central hub does a few brilliant things:

• Saves on delivery costs (so we can donate more toilet roll)

• Reduces carbon emissions (win for the planet)

• Gets supplies out to more people, more quickly

We're only a small team of volunteers, so anything we can do to make things easier for us and the food banks is a win. Distributing through S6 means we don't have to arrange 30 separate deliveries. That’s less stress, less fuel, and more time spent doing the good stuff.

Wipe With Purpose
